RESPONSABILITATI

For the Technical Support Centre Romania, Microsoft is looking for a Support Engineer- MS SQL Server located in Bucharest. Start Date ASAP. The centre will provide advanced technical services and support for Microsoft¿s customers across Europe, especially Germany.

¿ Using broad and in-depth product knowledge provide and facilitate the responsive delivery of technical solutions and information to major customers;
¿ Provide solutions to complex problems that satisfy our German speaking customer base. This involves dealing with difficult situations including complaint handling, sensitive customers and mission critical support;
¿ Build customer and partner loyalty through customer orientation, responsiveness and accountability;
¿ Work in an international environment and collaborate with your team to provide high-level support;


CERINTE

¿ 3-5 years strong design, administration and/or support experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2000, 2005) preferably in a Support Organization or a Large Enterprise;
¿ Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server concepts like Relational Databases, Disaster recovery, Query writing & performance, Clustering & HA environment, OLAP & MDX, Replication & Mobility, performance tuning and hardware design, Reporting Services, migrations, Heterogeneous Database environment, and OLEDB & ADO.NET Development;
¿ Good knowledge of Relational Databases administration and TCP/IP Networking;
¿ Familiar with SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services and Backup solutions;
¿ Familiar with troubleshooting tools like Pssdiag, DMVs, Perfmon, Network tracing;
¿ Strong working knowledge of English and German (verbal and written);
¿ Communication skills in international environment;
¿ Willingness to improve technical skills and language skills ;
¿ Service orientation, Action oriented and Problem Solving.
