Responsibilities:
• Serves as primary contact in contractual t&c’s negotiations with suppliers and / or subcontractors;
• Responsible for delivering professional contract and procurement support to the various Product Lines;
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures in the contracting process;
• Establishes and maintains solid working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors in contract management;
• Preparation, negotiation and execution of suppliers and subcontractors agreements;
• Liaison with suppliers and subcontractors / Product Lines and contractual proposals and associated negotiations insuring that risk and exposure are properly managed;
• Coordination and executing contractual agreement with Alliance members as required;
• Ensures proper and consistent administration of all tenders and service contracts;
• Analyzing of client tenders and setting up of subcontracts as required mitigating contract risk in compliance with corporate policies;
• Maintenance and review of ongoing and current supplier contracts;
•Coordination with legal counsel and contracts department on legal and client contractual matters as required;
• Maintenance and review of contract database;
• Assure strict compliance with Company Trade Compliance Policy, and applicable laws and regulations;
• Pro actively implement the company trade (import/export) compliance standards, guidelines, and procedures;
• Provide guidance and support to the employees through organizing and conducting regular training sessions / workshops;
• Act as primary liaison to government agencies as necessary;
• Facilitate and participate in country, site and other compliance reviews and audits;
• Deploy and monitor the Company TCC Self-Assessment Program;
• Properly escalate identified violations or significant risks of the Trade Compliance Policy to Legal Counsel.
• University degree - commercial and / or legal education;
• Minimum three years relevant experience;
• Excellent English knowledge;
• Ability to review and analyze terms and conditions in tenders and contracts with the aim of identifying risks, liabilities and commercial impacts;
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision;
• Ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors and competitors;
• Ability to build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors in other organizations.
