RESPONSABILITATI

1. First Sample Approval
-Get from the SD Buyer the First Sample File coming from Unit, that includes all Unit quality requirements, or build it with the Unit and SD Buyer.
-Get the supplier to fulfill the Unit requirements, including:
-Prepare the Dimensional control report of 100% of produced samples
-Get the Raw material certificate
-Prepare packaging and get the supplier to inform SD SQE when the file is ready.
-Validate dimensional control report at supplier premises
-Approve samples if dimensions comply with drawing requirements, reject otherwise
-Inform unit and supplier the result of FS file (including dimensional control report)
-If parts are rejected, get supplier to produce new samples that comply with drawing requirements
-Contact SD/Unit SQE upon completion of 2nd phase
-SQE and Buyer work together to get the supplier respect the committed target date of completion
- Give indications to Quality for Incoming Inspection criteria, depending on knowledge of supplier process. Participate to the supplier selection (ensure project definition);
2. Pre-Shipment Inspection
-Control the parts to be delivered to Unit, at the supplier’s, before shipment. This PSI has to be done in case of FSA, and can be done for first deliveries of new parts, and after a Non-Conformity has been detected by Areva.
-Respect T&D PSI procedure SD-001
-Keep PSI follow-up file updated
-Coordinate communication between unit and supplier
3. Non-Conformity management
-Contact supplier upon receipt of Non Conformity (NC) report and/or quality problems from unit
-Get supplier to answer the Non-Conformity using 8D report.
-Get supplier to respect the steps of 8D report, including
- Customer protection : Inform unit if there are any shipment on the road with quantity information, 100% check stock, Quarantine any NC part found during stock check
-the root causes of the non-conformity : occurrence and non-detection causes
-Define and Implement Corrective Action Plan
-Control the efficiency of Corrective Actions
-Standardize the Corrective Actions and update the documentation
- Verify 8D at supplier premises
-Perform Pre Shipment Inspection after implementation of Corrective Action Plan
-Report the progress and 8D to unit
4. Supplier Q&D Improvement
-Perform classification and process audit to suppliers in accordance with T&D Sourcing 003 procedure.
-Send audit report with defined Corrective Action Requests (CAR) to the supplier and Unit
-Upload audit report to SMILE database
for supplier to take Corrective Actions towards open CARs, in respecting the planning.
-If requested by supplier, give supplier best practices to improve.
-Perform follow-up audits.
- Send to supplier P1 and A2 results, on a monthly basis.
-Insures that Quality and Continuous Improvement activities are managed in each supplier in order for the parts to comply with AREVA T&D requirements :
-Train supplier on basic quality tools
-Coach supplier in improving its Q&D performance
-Initiates projects at supplier site to improve supplier performance in Quality (P1) and On Time Delivery (A2) using problem solving methodology (six sigma, FMEA, 8D,…)

5. Assessment and Selection of Supplier
Take part in the Supplier selection, by auditing potential new Suppliers according to T&D Classification Audit procedure (SO003).

- Experience in Quality Management Systems, Process & Product Qualification Process, Six Sigma methodology
