* Offers technical support to B2B Strategic Customers, acting as first level of escalation, according to schedule and internal procedures
* Monitors and investigates incidents proactively / malfunctions occurred in the UPC network and services
* Communicates professionally with departments / suppliers / subcontractors for debugging and maintaining service parameters
* Promptly troubleshoots the affected services, according to established contractual processes with suppliers of circuits and equipment; escalates properly special cases
* Fill in and maintain updated information on open fault tickets using special applications for this purpose
* Responsible for the good functioning of UPC Romania networks and services to all customers; if necessary, ensures escalating to supervisor for problems encountered, directly to NOC, subcontractors or B2B Technical Solutions Engineers
* Responsible for prompt management information regarding serious incidents, according to internal procedures and instructions
* University degree in IT / telecom is an advantage
* Advanced knowledge of TCP / IP, Linux, voice and ISP
* CCNA Certification or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of IP, knowledge about equipment used by UPC: Cisco, Juniper
* Fluent English
* Knowledge of network architectures and equipment - ISP level (OSI Model, switching, routing protocols, TCP / IP, etc.)
* Fundamental understanding of and hands-on experience with network technologies including firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, VLANS, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless networks
* Thorough comprehension of fundamental networking protocols, including TCP, STP, ARP, Ethernet, OSPF, etc.
* Experience supporting or testing LANs, VLANs, WLANs, VPNs, VOIP, NAT devices, Network Services (DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, etc)
* Good knowledge of Windows operating system; Knowledge base level operating systems on Linux / Unix
* Knowledge of scripting programming (Python, Bash, Perl, PHP) is an advantage
* Knowledge of SQL is an advantage
