¿ Our client is a very well-known Western European retail chain coming to Romania and requires a General Manager both to manage the first shop in the chain (in a prestigious location) and to develop our client¿s position on the Market leading to expansion into more locations. Service:
¿ Drive the high levels of customers satisfaction
¿ Ensure the store team is customer lead
Profit:
¿ Develop and drive the store strategy
¿ Plan store sales, monitor their performance and address issues
¿ Plan & monitor costs & payroll in line with budgets & take remedial action where required
Stock:
¿ Review and agree block and sectional layouts
¿ Ensure the visual merchandising of the store reflects the Company\'s look
¿ Demand the highest standards of consistency in product presentation
¿ Drive high standards and efficiency are achieved and maintained in the stockroom
¿ Analyse stocktake results and effect 100 day plan to resolve any issues
¿ Analyse sales and shrinkage data and effect necessary action
¿ Ensure all in-store processes are efficiently implemented
¿ Drive continuous improvement
Champion the goals, values and strategy for the store and for the Company
¿ Be the role model for your team by setting a clear vision and sense of direction
¿ Be he guardian of our client¿s way of working, creating team spirit throughout the store
¿ Recruit and retain a high calibre team
¿ Develop training plans that allow your team to quickly achieve their full potential
¿ Develop individuals to meet the succession needs of the store and the company
¿ Coach and support colleagues on the region
¿ Ensure communication is a top priority
¿ Encourage opportunities for consulting, listening, and idea generation
¿ Ensure that recognition and reinforcement are key behaviors in the store
¿ Demand the highest performance standards and ensure performance issues are handled to a positive conclusion
¿ Carry out regular performance reviews of our management team
¿ Take action to reduce absence and turnover
