- Work independently and own multiple features of the product
- Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs
- Design & implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications, while keeping a strong customer focus
- Collaborate with quality engineers, to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards
- Perform research on various technologies useful for the project
- Provide status and feedback to management
For this job we are searching for people with:
- Technical knowledge:
- B.S or M.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of working experience building large scale web applications and web services
- Strong technical background with Microsoft .NET Development Platform (ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, WCF, SOAP)
- Experience in web-related client side technologies (JavaScript/ AJAX, HTML, CSS)
- Sound knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or newer
- Experience in architecting, designing, developing, deploying and maintaining large, high availability and rich content web applications and web services
- Very good abilities to analyze, profile and optimize code for performance and memory usage
- Strong debugging and bug-fixing skills
- Excellent knowledge of design patterns
- Expertise in data structures and algorithms
Nice to have:
- Experience in using and maintaining Microsoft IIS
- Experience with VB.NET
- Familiar with at least one scripting language (PERL, Python)
- Knowledge of another DBMS is a plus
- Experience with agile development methodologies
