As a member of our team, you will
* Work independently and own multiple features pertaining to the product User Interface
* Transform requirements and static wireframes into useable, highly interactive UIs
* Provide implementation advice to server-side developers, collaborate with them to find the best approaches
* Interact with the quality engineers, to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
* Perform research on various technologies useful for the project.
* Provide status and feedback to management
For this job we are searching for professionals that meet the following criteria:
* 3+ years of software development experience
* Experience building frontend for AJAX web applications using both a custom style (with JQuery for instance) or generated with frameworks such as GWT
* Proficient in assembling HTML and CSS templates starting from wireframes and concepts
* Mastership of all the necessary graphics tools (Illustrator, Fireworks, Photoshop) for transforming images and models into sliced imagery optimized for the web or for displaying on a mobile device
* Knowledge of UI design principles, usability and user experience
* At least solid notions of server-side programming in one or more major frameworks, including one based on Java
* Nice to have: graphic design experience, creation of wireframes/concepts starting from a simple idea
* Nice to have: mobile/tablet programming knowledge (iOS, Android, Adobe Air on devices)
* Solid foundation in development process, best practices and design patterns
* Good knowledge of code-versioning tools and practices
* Strong knowledge of code-editors, debuggers, profilers and other tools for the technologies he owns
* B.S. or M.S. degree (degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is a bonus)
* Effective communication with the local and remote team member
* You must be enthusiastic, creative and have the desire to innovate
