As a SQL Report Writer, you will work with business users and other developers to design and implement reports within a heterogeneous environment based on PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and a Python Web framework. You will leverage your experience in these technologies to further the Business Intelligence initiatives that are one of our top priorities.
Some of the specifics tasks will include
Development of SQL reports using simple and complex queries and integrating them in our current reports environment.
Write simple and complex stored procedures for PostgreSQL 8 and possibly Sql Server 2000.
Write adhoc queries to extract on-demand information that later may be developed into fully fledged regular reports.

2+ years experience with a transactional database.
Experience developing stored procedures.
Ability/Interest to work with business analysts and users to design solutions to meet their business needs.
Track record of working successfully in a team.
Pluses:
BS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or commensurate professional experience.
Previous experience with PostgreSQL
Knowledge of a Web application framework
