- Interface with business users to gather and document user requirements and translate those requirements into working data model designs;
- Work with business users to sign off requirements;
- Prepare high level and detailed design specifications and documentation of the entire BI development process;
- Configure BI and DWH systems in order to meet the business requirements and assures prompt and correct implementation;
- Learn the data models of source systems and the reporting databases and leverage that knowledge in support of users and reporting projects;
- Develop reports as per business requirements needs;
- Produce applications that are required by business in order to assure proper work flows in the company;
- Participate in testing of new software shipments to ensure the business requirements are met;
- Create/Update documentation for the implementation of the features in the system as required by the office/department policy.
-Technical or scientific degree/diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Telecom;
-At least 2 years of experience in IT, preferable in area of DWH and Business Intelligence;
-Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL;
-Strong knowledge of Oracle Developer Suite (Designer, Reports / Forms, Discoverer);
-Good knowledge of Cristal reports developer;
-Good knowledge of Unix shell script;
-Good knowledge of Unix;
-Good knowledge of programming language (C/C++ or Java) is beneficial;
-Solid understanding of technology trends and the impact of technology on business functions;
-Good knowledge of PHP/MySQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript;
-Fluency in English;
-Analytical thinking and problem solving skills;
-Motivation to achieve consistently high quality results;
