RESPONSABILITATI

Controls Framework

* Identify, discuss and agree the list of applicable controls for each client process
* Ensure documentation updates on a periodical basis
* Perform walkthroughs and create remediation plans for failed controls
* Define action plans and perform follow up for closure in agreed timelines

Audit support (both Internal & External)

* Ensure proper planning for the audit fieldwork
* Ensure timely and adequate response to questions/ issues raised by auditors
* Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations

Ensure Compliance in Operations

* Be involved in all internal audit related activities related to Finance and Accounting processes
* Ensure documentation & testing of applicable controls
* Conduct periodic SOX testing
* Identify and discuss gaps in the SOX tests. Report, document and track action items with the internal and external customer
* Review work performed by other team members involved in Compliance activities
* Train junior resources from the Compliance team
* Ensure adequate separation of duties and access is properly controlled
* Responsible for internal and external reporting (Internal Controls Summary to the client, SOX dashboard internally)
* Responsible for representation letters and Financial Health Check from the compliance part
* Responsible for updating status of activities in SOX tools and systems

Training

* Involved in creation of training materials and communications
* Deliver trainings on SOX, controllership and internal control matters to Operation teams


CERINTE

* Economic background
* More than 2 years of experience in relevant accounting areas or internal audit
* Auditing and/or business process re-engineering experience, with strong internal control focus.
* Finance & accounting certifications/ qualifications (at least in progress) would be an advantage (ACCA, CIA, chartered accountant etc.)
* Leading/ performing SOX projects or having performed SOX related activities in a BPO industry is desirable
* Good accounting, operations and computer skills
* Excellent understanding of compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley act
