Building an effective supply Chain to manage a given purchase budget
Sourcing activities connected to 4 plants - Responsible for PPAP, Vendor consolidation, Capacity management, Supply chain risk management, Quality system & delivery tracking.
Work closely with manufacturing plants, engineering department and teams in other geographies, experience in working in multi reporting organization is an added advantage
Identify the potentials with new vendors in terms of total cost of ownership and activity based costing
Handling the supply chain developed post development for the production, conduct Quality improvement program.
Should have excellent knowledge of Engineering Materials
Should have average commercial knowledge of costing, pricing from various geographies
Should have excellent spoken English knowledge and written commercial knowledge
Should have average commercial knowledge of Taxes, duties in Europe
Should have good working knowledge of ERP system and Excel
Should have good knowledge on vendor development processes, PPAP and APQP processes
Should have hands on experience of Quality measurements, statistical analysis, vendor Audits, vendor appraisals
Should be able to contribute individually. Should be comfortable working in a matrix reporting environment
Should be flexible to travel and relocate
Should have aptitude towards manufacturing and quality.
