Responsibilities:
- Responsible for effectively applying technical knowledge to a sales situation and crafting solutions for clients.
- Establish and maintain a professional working relationship at multiple levels both internally and with the client by developing a core understanding of the client’s unique business needs
and competitive challenges.
- Tailor strategy and architect solutions to meet the needs of the client, and interface with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solution development.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue, product, customer satisfaction and market share goals for assigned account(s).
Specialist:
- Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.
- Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope.
- Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.
- May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team
decision-making process.
- Ability to handle most unique situations.
- May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
- Experience in installing and configuring networks, applications and platforms using a variety of industry products and technologies.
- Experience in developing Statements of Work, with some assistance.
- General knowledge of the IT industry, with in-depth knowledge of at least one specific functional area such as Help Desk Operations, Systems Management, Network Management or a comparable IT technology discipline.
