The candidate would be part of a large global team of highly skilled professionals. He/she will prepare, maintain and review Test Plans, derive Test Suites based on Acceptance Criteria Scenarios, execute test plans and maintain execution log for each test run, prepare and maintain Test Status and Test Coverage reports, develop Test Cases, maintain Test Case Execution Records and other activities related to the software testing lifecycle.
Skills and Qualifications:
Mandatory
Good knowledge of the software testing lifecycle;
Experience with Bug Reporting Tools and Concepts (such as Bugzilla, RTC, ClearQuest, JIRA, etc.);
Ability to: execute test plans and maintain execution log for each test run, complete and accurate definition of the test scenarios, plan test activities, compile and send documentation and test reports;
Experience with Bug Reporting Tools and Concepts (such as Bugzilla, RTC, ClearQuest, JIRA, etc.);
Experience with different testing methods (white box testing, black box testing, static, dynamic, automation, globalization, etc);
Fluency in English (oral and writing).
Nice to have
Unix/Windows shell scripting skills;
Basic/Medium Java experience – required for automation;
Familiar with Development processes;
Familiar with JUnit, REST APIs;
Test Automation experience, familiar with any automation tools;
Software testing certification is a plus;
