The STQA competency line consultants work with the customer team to assist with the testing of software to customer's guidelines and standards.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Preparation of test cases and test plans
- Execution of test cases
- Recording of test results
- Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements
- Ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through the software release development
- Provide estimates and feedback to the testing manager and project manager for scheduling purposes
- Previous software testing experience (at least functional testing; performance testing a plus)
- Previous experience with and knowledge of structured test methods and test deliverables, such as defects and test cases
- Good knowledge of software development process, software development lifecycle
- Commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work
- Excellent technical insight; development experience a plus
- Automation testing skills/experience a plus
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to work well within a team
