Test of complex and safety-critical application software for the railway field, including:
• Specification of Test Cases on Requirements basis;
• Implementation of Test Cases for unit test and subsystem test. Writing of test programs and test data;
• Automation of Test Cases;
• Execution of manual and automated tests;
• Support of test environments, tools and simulation
• Evaluation of the test output (coverage, traceability, progress);
• Test documentation;
• Regular test reporting.
The tests will be performed in close co-operation with experts from Thales Germany and/or Thales Austria.
We are looking for a team player who can demonstrate the following qualities:
Education: any technical degree related with computer science (Automatics, Transportation, Electronics, Cibernetics).
Requested technical competences:
• Testing of complex software systems under usage of technical means like simulators and scripting languages;
• Script Languages (shell scripting for Unix or Linux, Perl or others);
The following would be considered significant assets:
• Systematic testing of software;
• Development (incl. Programming)of software application;
• ClearCase or other Version Control Software;
• GNU Toolchain, ClearQuest, Doors
• HTML, XML
• C or Java is a plus
• Experiences in Railway Application Development is a plus;

• Availability to travel abroad from time to time.
