Responsibilities:
Key areas of responsibility:
• Write test specifications and detailed test cases on the basis of functional requirement specifications
• Perform software tests based on test specifications
• Thereby conform to quality standards and to our customer’s requirements
As part of the development team, you will use VS 2010, TFS 2010, SQL 2008 R2. Our systems follow SOA principles. Current versions are based on .net 4.0 framework and use technologies like WCF, WPF, WF.
Requirements:
- .NET C# , Microsoft SQL - basic/ medium knowledge
- Knowledge of Object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Good understanding of the following concepts: Automated Techniques, Functional, Integration, Regression and Unit Testing
- Familiar with methods of testing like black box, dynamic, static and white testing
- TFS knowledge will be considered a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to demonstrate expanded analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics
- Team player, good communication skills, ability and enthusiasm in working as part of a team of developers
Nice to have:
- Experience with JEE application servers as JBoss /Tomcat;
- Knowledge of defect management systems (like BugZila, Jira, ClearQuest or other);
- Knowledge of SQL relational data bases (MySql, Oracle, PostgresSql)
- XML knowledge;
- Experience with test automation tools and scripted testing
