The Software Tester is responsible for performing the following tasks:
Provide test status to project management and the customer regularly
Participate in the application tests, test validation and variance and defect analysis, as appropriate
Participate in Test Planning activities
Develop the test design in collaboration with the Test Architect and Technical Tester
Create the master and level-specific test plans
Plan and coordinate the test environment
Evaluate the customer's business requirements for testability
Participate in defining the business test scenarios/test cases and execution plan to verify that the system meets the intent of the design from a business perspective
Determine whether the application being considered supports the customer's business processes
Participate in the application tests, test validation and variance and defect analysis, as appropriate
Track and report defects
Provide test status to project management and the customer regularly
Create the test report
Ideal Candidate:
Knowledge of test tools
UML – nice to have
SQL knowledge
C#, .net, Java knowledge
Compuware Testing Suite knowledge - nice to have
Very good English skills
Good knowledge of Italian - nice to have
