Our Software Tester is responsible for performing the following tasks:
- Provide test status to project management and the customer regularly
- Participate in the application tests, test validation and variance and defect analysis, as appropriate
- Participate in Test Planning activities
- Develop the test design in collaboration with the Test Architect and Technical Tester
- Create the master and level-specific test plans
- Plan and coordinate the test environment
- Evaluate the customer's business requirements for testability
- Participate in defining the business test scenarios/test cases and execution plan to verify that the system meets the intent of the design from a business perspective
- Determine whether the application being considered supports the customer's business processes
- Participate in the application tests, test validation and variance and defect analysis, as appropriate
- Track and report defects
- Provide test status to project management and the customer regularly
- Create the test report
Ideal Candidate:
Knowledge of test tools
SQL knowledge
HOST knowledge (JCL, DL1, DB2, PL1, VSAM)
UML – nice to have
Compuware Testing Suite knowledge - nice to have
Very good English skills
Good knowledge of Italian – nice to have
