We will expect you to:
* Be a passionate practitioner of Agile development methodologies
* Work in an team to build a scalable and secure service;
* Develop, maintain and run test plans and test cases for main product features and automate them as much as possible
* Maintain, debug and update existing test cases and test harness;
* Debug test failures;
* Improve code coverage to cover gaps identified with code coverage tools;
* Find, report and troubleshoot software defects;
* Work with performance and memory leaks tools to effectively identify performance- related issues;
* Write medium-complexity API-level tests with minimal guidance;
* Work with developers and QE counterparts to write use cases and functional specifications for new product features;
* Interact with other quality engineers to ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards;
* Perform research on various technologies required for the project;
* Participates in inspection and review process for all types of project deliverables, including code.
* Deploy new releases and ensure production stability .
It’s highly recommended that you have:
* 3+ years of industry experience;
* a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent;
* Strong knowledge in testing web-applications;
* Basic knowledge of SQL
* Good knowledge of Flex, HTML/XHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript;
* Basic knowledge and understanding of object oriented concepts, design patterns and web application architectures;
* Experience testing software using unit tests and integration tests;
* Good written and verbal communication skills;
* Proficient in English;
