SpamExperts BV (headquarter Amsterdam, The Netherlands), a key-player in the internet-security industry, is looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active, and skilled tester who is challenged by the idea of running both manual tests and writing automatic tests for the SpamExperts software products. You will work in a young small team of highly motivated professionals and are expected to work in an independent and proactive fashion. We offer flexible working hours.
Responsibilities:
* Writing automated tests (e.g. unit tests, regression tests, functional tests)
* Testing web applications
* Testing Linux command-line scripts
* Testing APIs (HTTP, REST, JSON)
Desired profile:
* Bachelor degree or higher
* 2-5 working years experience as tester
* Good written English
* Pro-active and independent worker
Candidate Profile:
* Good communication skills
* Precise personality

Beneficial skills:
* Python's unittest module, phpUnit, or other standard unit testing libraries, especially of the xUnit style
* Debian Linux experience
* Bash scripting
* PHP programming
* Python programming
* Familiarity with bug tracking and continuous integration systems
* Experience creating automated tests for web applications, especially the Selenium or Canoo tools
