Core Tasks/Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the QA Team Lead and development teams to meet product requirements and release dates
- Develop and maintain a suite of smoke, functional and regression tests
- Execute manual and automated test cases to evaluate product releases
- Test new features and products in a development environment prior to deployment
- Conduct performance, stress and scalability testing
- Report issues/ improvements and verify fixes
- Suggest improvements to current approaches for testing processes and methodologies
- Research for new quality assurance tools and technologies to improve the testing effort
- Required:
o BS degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related field
o Experience with Windows operating systems and Web applications
o Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
o Excellent test plan and test case development skills
o Experience in the software quality assurance field
o Basic programming knowledge in .NET, Java or Delphi
- Nice to have:
o Experience with an automated testing tool (e.g. TestComplete, Selenium, Silk Test, Robotium)
o Unit testing knowledge/experience;
o Good knowledge of a scripting language(Jscript, JavaScript, VBScript)
o General SQL knowledge
o Cloud computing and virtualization knowledge/experience
