Wireless Mobile Systems department with FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR ROMANIA develops leading software solutions and advanced embedded design tools for Freescale’s 3G cellular platforms.
Software Engineer – works on an advanced 3G platform simulator that allows the development of the stack and application framework on MXC platforms.
University degree, preferable in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics.
Experience in C/C++ development preferable on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux/Unix).
Experience in Windows programming (multi-threading, interprocess synchronization and communication).
Knowledge of software configuration management, preferable ClearCase.
Spoken and written English.
Experience on some of the following would be a plus
3G stack and the interface with the application framework
System C, ADL
Architecture of microprocessors and peripherals.
