RESPONSABILITATI

Wireless Mobile Systems department with FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR ROMANIA develops leading software solutions and advanced embedded design tools for Freescale’s 3G cellular platforms.
Software Engineer – works on advanced embedded low-level (L1) stacks and drivers for the next generation of 3G wireless subscriber platforms


CERINTE

- University degree, preferable in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics.
- Experience in C/C++ development and Assembly language.
- Experience in embedded applications.
- Architecture of microprocessors and peripherals.
- Knowledge of software configuration management, preferable ClearCase.
- Knowledge of methodologies and approaches in application development and testing.
- Spoken and written English.
- Experience on some of the following would be a plus:
- Operating systems fundamentals, device drivers, multiprocess/multithreaded applications.
- Embedded systems software for DSPs, microcontrollers etc.
- Wireless communication protocols (GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS).
- Multimedia compression techniques (voice/audio/video codecs and players).
- Real-time applications & Real Time operating systems.
