This person will participate in the analysis, design, development and maintenance of various products in the Automation and Tools group. She/he will maintain and enhance Ixia’s complex multi-platform automation frameworks and design and develop new tools for these frameworks. She/he will liaise with different groups within the engineering organization to determine their requirements and priorities. This person will also train QA engineers on the efficient use of Ixia automation frameworks and methodologies.
- C++ or Java
- Phyton, Tcl or other scripting language
- Oracle or any other RDBMS
- Ability to quickly learn and grasp new technologies
- Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Would be an advantage:
-Web application development experience and knowledge of diverse web platforms and technologies, including Apache, J2EE, JSP, ASP and PHP in Windows and Linux environments.
