Work as software developer for a powerful API and a command line interpreter (CLI) that are used to automate the performance, scalability, and functional testing of network devices, based on industry standard RFCs and network equipment manufacturers¿ requirements.
The API and the CLI provide means to configure Ixia test hardware ¿ a high speed Linux processor per port which allows configuration of complex network topologies consisting of thousands of routing or switching devices plus wire-speed traffic generation, filtering, capturing, statistics collection.
Job responsibilities include design, development, and review of new features.
University degree in Computers, Electronics, Mathematic
Programming experience in one or more of these programming languages: TCL, Perl, PHP, Python, C, C++, C#, Java
Routing and switching protocols knowledge.
Good spoken and written English
Additional skills considered a plus:
Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP
