Romania Network Communication Team, part of NMG, provides embedded networking solutions for last generation PowerQuicc communications processors, including microcode, drivers, demo applications and benchmarking on Linux operating systems.
Joining this team will get you in contact with the cutting-edge networking platforms that Freescale delivers to the major players in telecommunication market. You will gain experience in working with protocols like Ethernet, ATM and PPP and in developing telecom applications for 2+G, 3G, 4G platforms.
You will develop software in a professional environment according with the CMMI standards.
Your role was built to develop software solutions that will enable our global customers to accelerate the development cycles of their products
To be successful in your role you will have to perform the following activities:
- To analyze customers products requirements
- To design and to plan the implementation of the new software solutions considering performance improvement and optimization of the customers products
- To develop solutions for the validation of the software products
- To develop software solutions following the software development process specifications described by CMMI
To ensure your successful performance in this role your working past experience should reflect :
- Software development experience using C programming
- Embedded applications development
- Networking protocols implementation
Your technical knowledge and skills should demonstrate:
- Bachelor degree ¿¿¿ Computer Science; Computer Engineering or Electronics
- Good understanding of hardware architecture
- Very good knowledge of embedded programming and networking protocols
- The ability to work with the latest generation of development tools
- Good command of English (speaking & writing)
