The engineer will participate in various stages of desing and development of CodeWarrior Embedded Debugger. The job involves software design,development, testing and maintenance of the various modules, as well as participation in designing next generation debugger tools.
The succesful candidate would understand development of Window and/or Linux hosted applications in C++ with an additional understanding of programming for embedded systems.
University degree, preferable in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics;
1-2 years hands-on experience with C/C++;
Knowledge of operating systems fundamentals, device drivers, multiprocess / multithreaded applications;
Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems;
Knowledge of a scripting programming language - such as TCL, Perl;
Team spirit, able to cooperate and work under pressure;
Good English command.
The following skills would bring an advantage:
Knowledge of Embedded Systems;
Eclipse plugin development
Previous experience in development of automated test software;
Knowledge of software quality, software development process, version control systems (such as CVS);
Familiar with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Solaris).
