The engineer will participate in various stages of design and development of CodeWarrior™ Embedded Debugger. The job involves software design, development, testing and maintenance of the various modules and interaction with technical support.
The successful candidate would have Windows and/ Linux applications development experience with an additional understanding of programming for embedded systems, and have a track record of quickly learning and grasping new technologies
Requirements:
- University degree, preferable in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics;
- To prove applications development experience using C/C++;
- Experience with Linux Kernel, device drivers, multi-process / multithreaded applications;
- Work experience with embedded applications development
- Team spirit, able to cooperate and work under pressure;
- Good English command.
Some of the following skills would bring an advantage:
- Experience with hardware bring-up
- Work experience with communications protocols
- Knowledge of a scripting programming language - such as TCL, Perl;
- Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems;
- Knowledge of software quality, software development process, version control systems (such as CVS), software test automation
- Familiar with Power Architecture
- Knowledge of Virtualization technologies
