This person will participate in the analysis, design, development and maintenance of various products in the Tools Development group. She/he will maintain and enhance current products and will participate in the design and development of applications for both internal and external use. She/he will also liaise with different groups within the company to determine their requirements and priorities. This person will also train end users on the efficient use of the developed applications.
- Java, C/C++
- Web application development experience and knowledge of diverse web platforms and technologies, including J2EE, JSP, in Windows and Linux environments.
- Oracle DBMS, SQL
- Oracle Application Server / Java Enterprise Server
- Ability to quickly learn and grasp new technologies
- Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Would be an advantage:
- Experience in development under both Windows and Linux
- Oracle DB installation and administration experience
- Low-level understanding of network related protocols and technologies, layers 2-3, 4-7
- Hands-on experience with Sun Solaris / Sparc platform.
