As a software engineer, you will be involved in all the development phases of various applications, including:
- Architecture definition on module level
- Design, Implementation/Coding and Unit test
- Application maintenance and bug fixing
- Documentation and regular progress reporting
The development will be performed in close co-operation with experts in Germany.
Education
- computer science graduates (Automatics and Computers Faculty, Informatics, Faculty of Cybernetics)
Preferred Project experience:
- Development of Java applications ((standard edition, Swing/SWT, Eclipse RCP)
- Development of graphical user interfaces is a plus
- Development under usage of UML is a plus
Programming languages:
- Java
- C/C++ is a plus
- Basic knowledge of script languages is a plus
Preferred tools and methods:
- Object Oriented Architecture
- Code Checkers (e.g. QAC) are a plus
- UML Tools (Innovator, Rational Software Architect, Together) are a plus
- Clear Case / Subversion is a plus
- DDTS/ClearQuest is a plus
- Design patterns are a plus
Preferred knowledge of laws, standards and regulation:
- CENELEC for safety critical systems (50126, 50128, 50129) is a plus
Personal competencies:
- Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team
- Team-working
- Flexibility
Languages:
- English (reading and writing)
- German is a plus
