A new member is required to join our Simulation team for the development of the ETCS OBU Test Device (EOTD). The ideal candidates will have the ability to work in a complex environment and the flexibility to catch up on the run the technical details and specifications of the product.
Job responsibilities include:
* System/ Subsystem specification
* Architectural design
* Detailed design
* Coding
* Test
* Documentation of the work results
The development will be performed in a professional environment in close co-operation with experts from Germany (Stuttgart, Berlin) and Austria (Wien). Due to the complexity of the final product some ETCS/Railway Signalling knowledge would be valuable.
Education:
* Technical study of Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Electronics or similar)
Requested technical competences:
* Strong C++ skills (at least 2 years experience).
* Experience with version control systems.
* Scripting experience
* Ability to learn new programming/scripting languages and different technologies/OS
Would be a plus:
* UML design
* Ruby
* Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest

* Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team;
