Development of SW applications for the railway field, including
- Design, Implementation/Coding and Unit test (manual and automated tests)
- Application maintenance (new features and bug fixing)
- Documentation
- Regular progress reporting
The development will be performed in a professional environment in close co-operation with experts from Germany.
Professional competencies
Education:
Computer science graduates (Automatics and Computers Faculty, Informatics, Faculty of Cybernetics) or degree of Transportation Faculty
Requested technical competencies:
- Good knowledge of C programming language (not necessarily C++ or OOP)
Would be a plus:
- Defect tracking tool (e.g. ClearQuest)
- Configuration management tool (e.g. ClearCase)
- Basic knowledge of railway
Personal competencies
- Structured working style suitable in a safety – critical environment
- Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team
- Team-working
Languages:
- English- advanced
- German is a plus
