- Perform impact analysis of project requirements or change requests.
- Perform technical assessment of project requirements.
- Develop interfaces with internal and external systems.
- Develop software using PeopleTools, PeopleCode and Integration Broker.
- Deliver software according to defined standards and agreed software development methods, processes and procedures.
- Perform unit testing of developed software.
- Perform peer reviews of developed software.
- Package software ready for deployment.
Operations
- Work with the Operations department to deploy software to Production.
- Provide 4th line production application support for software previously delivered.
- Accurately report time spent on software projects.
Essential Skills:
Minimum of 3 years experience in the design and development of Peoplesoft projects using Peoplesoft 8.8 or above.
Good knowledge of Peoplesoft CRM for Telecommunication including Order Capture, Support, Configurator modules.
Knowledge of Peoplesoft CRM Sales & Marketing, and Field Service modules would be a benefit.
Strong understanding of Peoplesoft architecture including knowledge of
Web servers, Application servers, Integration servers, Process schedulers.
People tools, People code, Peoplesoft Integration Broker.
Peoplesoft Performance Manager.
Experience of integration with billing, inventory and telephony systems would be beneficial.
Understanding of Oracle databases particularly Oracle 9i or above.
