Job Purpose:
Design and implement safety-critical software solutions for interlocking systems used in the railway field.
Job summary:
Define the architectural solutions on subsystem level
Implement new and maintain existing product features, resolve issues and fix bugs
Unit and Module testing
Ensure that all requests/tasks/features are implemented according to a high standard and they are documented
Regular progress reporting

Professional competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Requested technical competencies:
Strong knowledge of the C programming language
Experience from developing real-world projects for Unix/Solaris/Linux platforms; knowledge of the GNU Toolchain
Experience of full project lifecycle: design and documentation, development, unit testing, refactoring, deployment and maintenance
Knowledge of computer networks fundamentals
Would be a plus:
Knowledge of QAC, Parasoft C/C++Test
Knowledge of Clearcase, ClearQuest, DOORS
Embedded/Mission-critical C/C++ software experience
Windows programming experience

Languages:
