Our company is seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong analysis skills to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing enterprise software and custom applications and solutions, will assist in assessing project requirements, will design solutions to meet client needs formalize project specifications for the development team. The right candidate may also assist in the forming and managing of the IT team. The candidate should be assertive and responsive to changing objectives and requirements.
Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologies including web, application, database and messaging layers with a firm foundation in all aspects of J2EE. Previous experience as a software developer from a software house dealing with external clients a definite plus. The Software Developer will be expected to work efficiently alone as well as participate in a team effort. The candidate should also be assertive and responsive to changing objectives and requirements.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of all aspects of software development including analysis, design, construction and testing primarily using the Java programming language. The candidate should have prior work experience using design patterns and best practices methodologies such as the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Strong understanding and / or hands on experience is required in the following categories:
Operating Systems: Windows. Unix, Linux,
Application Servers: WebSphere Weblogic, JBoss.
Database: SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle,
UDB Platform: Java/J2EE.
Tools: JProbe, XMLSpy.
