The work of the consultants shall involve the following steps:
- Detailed design of components of the system, following established working practices
and standards;
- Design and development of user interfaces, with the user;
- Construction and testing of the program modules; and
- Documentation of the system components.
The consultants shall provide some or all of the following deliverables for every assignment:
- Detailed design of software components;
- Source code of tested software components; and
- Technical documentation for software components.
The consultants shall have the following mandatory skills:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the design and development of software
applications using Java;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the use of Java and JDBC;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the use of JSP, servlet and EJB
technologies;
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in database programming including writing stored
procedures/functions;
- A minimum of 1 year of experience building Web Services, including building and
deployment of service-oriented architecture components;
- Very good understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts;
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
The consultants shall have besides the mandatory skill the following preferred skills:
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and Javascript;
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite; and
- Experience in working in a small size software development team (2 to 4 persons) and working independently.
The position involves relocation in countries like: Austria, Germany, Belgium , etc.
