Role:
Responsible for the developing software applications.
Main responsibilities:
- Involvement in the requirements analysis and software design process
- Support in defining the technical requirements of the project
- Responsible for developing the software architecture and the real coding
Required skills:
- Minimum 1-3 years of programming experience (working) in several programming languages such as: C/C++, Java, Python, Perl, Ruby
- Familiarity with relational database concepts and RDBMS systems such as MySQL, DB2 and SQLServer
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Object Oriented Programming/Development concepts and practices
- Strong analytic mindset, the ability to decompose complex problems into simpler components, and the ability to organize and track complicated project plans
Preferred skills:
- Experience using version/change control systems (CVS, Perforce, ClearCase, Visual SourceSafe, etc.)
- General understanding of networks and network programming techniques
- Previous experience working with iterative development methodologies, such as Extreme Programming, Scrum or Feature Driven Design
