- Takes full responsibility for the IIS production and test servers as far as software configurations and installed applications;
- Configures and installs the IIS test servers to be ready for application deployment;
- Records, catalogues, manages and installs all releases being sent to IIS from its software providers;
- Establishes a detailed backup procedure, applied on each installation, to ensure a dependable roll-back process;
- Reviews and updates installation documents and follows them to install the releases;
- Establishes the server configuration settings for each application and records them into a document that will accompany each release;
- Prepares the installation packages for production/client;
- Keeps a strict history of all major/minor versions that were installed on each application and can always roll back to a certain previous release;
- Is involved in elaborating deployment/implementation plans, establishing procedures, steps to be followed, risks and assumptions.
- Graduate studies (preferably technical fields: mathematics, software techniques, information technology, computers);
- More than 2 years experience in the IT development and implementation field, predominant in systems and software configuration management area;
- Good DB (MS SQL & MySQL) knowledge;
- Good Windows server configuration and set-up knowledge;
- Ability to elaborate comprehensive installation and deployment documents;
- Great attention to details, analytical thinker;
- Planning, organization and coordinating skills;
- Ability to elaborate reports, system analysis;
- Initiative and proactivity, problem solving skills;
- Results oriented person, with good task management abilities;
- A dynamic and self-motivated person;
-Proficiency in English.
