- Create, approve and ensure the applicability of SCM process rules;
- Create, upgrade and maintain tools and artifacts used by all project team members;
- Support the developers with the build system;
- Database change management (backups/restores, scripts and automated tools);
- Automated Builds (daily builds, staging builds, release candidates, release notes);
- Deployments (test environments, production and rollouts, debug environment);
- Maintaining the Version Control System (code, documents and tools repository);
- Performs first level support for Client requests (configurations, issues investigation and clarification, forwarding requests to technical team responsible);
- Reports status of ongoing activities to technical team lead (Technical Project Manager).
Technical:
- Minimum 6 months accumulated experience in a similar position;
- Operating Systems: Windows;
- Internet: Basic knowledge of networking, HTML, IIS;
- RDBMS: Microsoft SQL Server (basic administration), average level of T-SQL;
- Version Control System (Microsoft Visual Source Safe, others);
- Batch scripting.
Non Technical:
- Fluent in English;
- Ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external parties;
- Proactive and aptitude for problem solving;
- Ability to work as a team player as well as on own initiative.
Will be considered a plus:
- .NET Framework, VB/C# Programming language;
- Crystal Reports, Microsoft Visio, Power Designer;
- Familiar with Software Development Methodologies (RUP/MSF/XP/etc).
