Role – Site Quality Manager – responsible for:
• Support for the site management in the planning and documenting its work in accordance with their assignments and pertinent procedures.
• Ensure that the material handling manager, assembly and commissioning staff responsible check all incoming shipments for damage in transit and completeness of shipment
• Monitoring to make certain that the inspection and testing during assembly and commissioning are conducted, documented, checked, approved, and documented.
• Ensuring that all special processes have been identified and that the staff employed for them is verifiably qualified
• Monitoring the application of the identified processes.
• Ensure that all testing and measurement equipment used has been validly calibrated.
• Ensuring that the Nonconformance System is applied.
• Carrying out internal Quality Audits on company’s Site Staff and Contractors, co-ordinate and assist in all external Audits.
• Maintain and improve quality management system and audit contractor as per the requirements of QMS and ISO 9001:2000
Education & Experience:
• 10 - Bachelor degree in Engineering
• 10 - 5 + experience of managing site QA/QC activities for a Power Plant
• 10 – Advanced knowledge of English [ both written and spoken ]
• 10 – Good PC skills: Ms Office, Lotus Notes
• 9- Training in Welding inspection and NDT.
