Key design team member who is an active participant in the design, validation and debug of mixed signal microcontroller devices and analog circuits.
Utilize strong laboratory experience and data analysis techniques to analyze chips and drive circuit changes, while providing leadership in Si verification and debug.
Time regulary spent both in the lab and on the simulator, matching the Si results to the expected values and troubleshooting the root casue of circuit failure
Degree In Electronics, Microelectronics or Electrical required with course emphasis on microelectronics. MSEE preferred.
Successful candidate will have strong academic accomplishment and excellent hands on experience in the evaluation of circuit, both analog and digital and the use of all basic lab equipment.
Design experience and knowledge is a strong plus and strong desire to expand knowledge in design tools and simulaton is required. Preference will be given to candidates with solid understanding of microcontoller, analog circuit techniques at the board and/or Si level, NVM experience, and to those with experience utilizing automated tools for data collection and ability to write code to aid analysis; this includes Labview, software and system level experience.
Candidate should have 4-8 years experience in the above.
Must be able to work effectively in cross functional team environment, while having a clear individual emphasis and expertise in circuit design. Successful candidate must have good communication skills in writing and speaking English, and also be an excellent decision maker, able to take the information at hand and consistently make decisions that expedite the goals of the project.

Microchip opened the R&D Center located in Bucharest in April 2006 and has been constantly expanding it.
