Siebel CRM Technical Support Labs Engineers provide exceptional technical support by installing, configuring and administering Siebel CRM test instances, and contribute to continuous product and service improvement documentation review, process improvement and internal systems design, configuration and implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tech Stack:
- Apply patches or perform new installations of Siebel products
- Provide common startup and shutdown scripts for each release of apps

Applications:
- Apply applications patches and resolve errors during application
- Application upgrades
- Stage software for upgrades / installs of Siebel products
- Installation of Language Packs
- Performance tunning of Applications and DB

Operating system / Kernel:
- Apply O/S patches
- Regular instance backups
- Instance Restores

- Working with other members within Technical Support to ensure complete and timely resolution of customer questions and issues.
- Work on specific project assignments, which may include such things as process/tools improvement


CERINTE

QUALIFICATIONS:
-The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer science, minimum 2 years relevant technical experience
- Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows XP, Windows 2003, UNIX: Solaris, HP, AIX)
- Good security knowledge (LDAP, Active Directory etc)
-Experience in supporting client/server applications
- Database skills (DB2, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, MS SQL Server)
- Ability to install and configure 3rd party products (i.e. web servers, proxy servers, etc.)
- Siebel CRM instance administration experience would be an advantage

- Previous technical support experience
- Strong customer service skills and an eagerness to excel
- Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to learn quick
- Excellent organizational skills
