Under general supervision, the SharePoint Technology Consultant provides support to our customers Sharepoint engineers to assist with an enterprise sharepoint solution for multiple 'sites' (projects / internal departments). The selected candidate will be a part of a sharepoint team responsible for supporting the design, development and implementation of SharePoint solutions. This person will be the front line SharePoint solutions support to help users identify and manage their SharePoint sites. They will assist in troubleshooting current SharePoint implementations, train less technical users and also the solution administrator, and assist in deriving solutions based on feature-sets implemented as well as recommend new modules based on user input. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude are critical, as the business application and nature of each assignment will vary from client-to-client.
You must have excellent communication skills as some of your time will be dealing with customers/clients. You will be the technical lead for a focused SharePoint 2003 / MOSS 2007 development team. You must have previous experience in developing SharePoint 2003 / MOSS 2007 solutions with strong C#, ASP.NET ( .NET ) and ideally SQL Server 2005 experience - though not essential. Any MCTS qualifications ideal.
You must have in-depth experience of .NET development and SharePoint 2003 / MOSS 2007 skills. This role would suit a versatile SharePoint / .NET developer or programmer looking to get into or continue with a SharePoint 2003 / MOSS 2007 consulting role. Any experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2.0/3.0, Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 / 2007 or MOSS would be ideal.
The focus of the daily activity will be Sharepoint but you will be also involved implementation of other products based on Microsoft technologies.
