RESPONSABILITATI

The Service Desk is the principle interface between Oracle On Demand Customers and On Demand Global Customer Support & Operations. The Service Desk is tasked with providing initial response to all incidents for our On Demand customers.

The functions performed include:
-Providing front line support in English to On Demand customers both electronically and via verbal communication;
-Utilising your technical abilities in helping to clarify and/or resolve customer incidents;
-Making an initial assessment of requests based on agreed Service Levels to the customers;
-Resolving known errors by matching incidents to knowledge management databases;
-Liaising with other support groups in assisting with the resolution of SRs where initial investigation fails to resolve the customer incident;
-Collecting required information using either specific data collection tools or technical knowledge to assist in the resolution of customer incidents;
-Validating appropriateness of proposed solutions by other support groups on behalf of the On Demand customer;
-Managing and responding quickly to customer requests for escalations;
-Providing ongoing monitoring and escalation of customer issues through the incident lifecycle;
-Communicating to customers the status of their incidents through to closure;
-Performing technical change management tasks on customer environments in accordance within the scope of the Service Desk.


CERINTE

-Technical degree in Computer Science/ Management Information Systems;
-At least 1 year work related experience with Oracle Products, specifically in Oracle Applications and/or Database;
-Relevant technical and/or functional knowledge of Oracle Products;
-Good knowledge of Unix, Linux and/or Windows;
-Previous experience in providing technical support to external customers is a plus;
-OCP or OCA certification is a plus;
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
