- The Server Analysts will monitor the status of the Servers, applications and report to the Duty manager on any alerts/warnings using Customer provided tools;
- Monitor the status of Servers for operational status, connectivity and report on any alerts;
- Monitor the status of Server hardware up/down status and report on any alerts;
- Monitor the status of Server OS up/down status and report on any alerts;
- System and Critical Services Monitoring: monitor the status of System services like Netlogon, Antivirus etc on each server and report on any alerts/warnings;
- Threshold Monitoring: monitor and report threshold violations against server components at O/S and H/W level;
- Capacity Monitoring: monitor Physical Resource Utilization on server resources like CPU, Memory, Storage / Partition / Disk Space, Paging file / Virtual memory, Disk I/O Time, Queue Length, Processor thread queue length, application monitoring like Site scope, Topaz.
- Windows Servers ¿ very good (1-3 yrs experience);
- Linux ¿ 1 year experience;
- Solaris ¿ basic knowledge;
- Backup and Storage experience;
- Antivirus infrastructure knowledge;
- Server applications;
- Availability to work 24/7;
- Good team player;
- Good Presentation skills/communication skills.
