For one of our clients, web gaming company from UK, we are looking for an experienced Web Developer.The position is located in Bucharest.
Role:
• Develop front-end games on multiple mobile and PC platforms
• Play an active role in software design decisions.
• Work with testing team to identify and solve development and live issues.
• Improve and maintain existing projects
• Actively participate in the server-side development process, engaging the team and resolving issues.
• Work directly with talented designers, artists and server programmers to ensure the smooth development of quality products.
• Work with producers to break down high-level goals into tasks and timelines.
• Identify development methodologies to continually improve our production practices and efficiency.
The person suited for this job would have:
• 5+ years industry experience in web programming (client - side).
• Strong knowledge of Javascript, jQuery, CSS3 and HTML
• Ability to build performant web applications that can be used on multiple mobile and PC platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and proactive problem identification and solving abilities.
• Working knowledge with SVN and familiarity with agile processes.
• Fluency with English.
• Superior communication and organization skills, flexibility and the proven ability to build quality products.
• Degree in CS/Engineering (or equivalent) preferred
• PHP knowledge would be a plus.
