We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to create high-volume, customer-facing web sites and applications.
The ideal candidate must have demonstrated proficiencies in developing web-based applications and have completed at least one major project or product.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain and optimize secure and scalable web applications.
- Participate in code architecture.
- Write clean, elegant code efficiently.
- Communicate fluently with team members; give and receive feedback.
- Produce reliable documentation for work.
- 3+ years of professional web development experience.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, Client-side JavaScript, AJAX development, HTML, CSS, XML.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, indexes, table normalization and database design.
- Comfortable with both object oriented and procedural programming methodologies.
- Portfolio showcasing professional web site development.
- Comfortable with UNIX environments and shell is a plus.
- Knowledge of LUA and Flash (ActionScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with video games and the gaming industry and trends a plus.
