Job Description:
We're looking for a developer to help architect and build the next generation of an auction platform. This could include API development, architecting an advanced payment processing system, optimizing the mobile web product experience, or inventing a completely new interface to view artworks. You'll be working with a team that is passionate about code, art, and design; our client's developers and product people will push you to be innovative.
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge and experience with PHP 5 (OOP), SQL databases
- Solid knowledge and experience with JavaScript: jQuery, Node.js, Socket.IO
- Proficiency in web front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript)
- Previous experience with PHP frameworks (Codeigniter or similar)
- Strong eye for visual design and passionate about user interfaces.
- Attention to the important details.
- An interest in the nuances of the art world.
- You think about edge cases and consider unexpected user actions.
- Proficiency in English
