RESPONSABILITATI

SUMMARY

Reviews and appraises applications for insurance. Determines eligibility of risks when compared to company underwriting policy and goals. Produces production and loss analysis reports, as required by management. Reviews policy terms and conditions of the existing products and services, proposing improvements and is involved in the development process of such products and services.

MAIN ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (other related duties may be assigned)

- Examines and evaluates documents such as application forms, inspection reports, product brochures, financial reports and other data to determine degree of risk, underwriting and market selection.
- Accepts, prices and binds insurance within underwriting authority and forwards to other underwriters insurance beyond authority.
- Provides underwriting technical assistance to agents, sales and support staff
- Review policy terms and conditions for different products and makes improvement proposals

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

- 3 + years of experience and knowledge in both motor and typical Property & Casualty comercial insurance lines (commercial), ie: Material Damage, Machinery Breakdown, CAR/EAR, Business Interruption, General Liability, Professional Liability, Cargo. (Personal Accident products would be a plus)
- Creative and strongly pro-active
- Dinamic, committed and hard-worker
- Ready to assume managerial responsibilities in the future
- Analitical and very good at details
- Technical university graduate
- Good knowledge of English
- Very good mathematical and computer skills
- Team-player and with sense of humor
