They have businesses in different countries all around the world. At present, they're looking to join a Senior Electrical Engineer for their Business Unit in Bucharest (Romania).
Functions:
- Reporting to the Head of Engineering, Construction and Environment you will be in charge of:

- DESIGN - Supervise the design; design, where applicable, and develop the engineering of the assigned projects (wind farms, solar thermal power plants and the corresponding auxiliary power output installations); give technical support both in the promotion phase and the contracting and construction phases, according to the department director’s guidelines and current legal regulations, in order to guarantee the correct application, bidding, construction and operation of the power plants and the auxiliary power output installations; assure the decision-making process.

- PROJECTS – Prepare the bid for the development of the renewable energy generating plants and the output power lines; prepare and elaborate, where applicable, the technical documentation to submit to the Engineering Department; plan the development and supervise the technical adaptation of the project, ensuring that the determining factors established by the Promotions Department and Environmental and Energy Evaluation Areas are met; monitor the correct execution of the project until it is submitted to the Purchasing Department for bidding, with the intention of guaranteeing the correct application, bidding, construction and operation.

- POWER OUTPUT – Participate in the design of the common connection infrastructure between the generating plants and the electricity network in the promoter’s technical commission or internally in the event that all the plants are self-owned; prepare the documentation required for the accesses and connections to the network, where applicable, and supervise the same; give technical support to the application for the infrastructure; supervise the technical specifications prepared for the contracting of the project and execution of the works and evaluate possible modifications to the same by the applicants for the subcontracts in order to defend the interests of EDP Renováveis and guarantee the correct construction of the power plants.

- TECHNICAL SUPPORT - Give technical support to the Promotion Departments and the Construction Projects Managers in the technical adaptation of the project proposals and in the development of the construction based on projects realized, in order to guarantee the correct technical performance of the plant and the auxiliary power output installations.
Requirements:
- Industrial Engineer
- High level of English is required, Romanian native
- 5 years experience in project management within multinational environments, focused in electrical sector or renewable energies. (preferably utilities or engineering sectors).
- Knowledge and/or experience in Wind Energy is a plus
- Goal oriented, dynamic, analytical skills, team management
